Protection
Lord this morning we pray for your protection over our lives. We plead the precious blood of Jesus over us and ask that you would be a shield over us. We pray for your protection over our bodies, over our children,
our families and our homes. We pray that you would be a ring of fire around us. Let not the enemy triumph over us. Let us be shielded under the shadow of your wings. As you said to Abraham, you are our shield and exceedingly great reward. We long for
your presence to shield us from the onslaught of the evil one. Purify us O Lord. You are the God who rescues. You will not allow your children to be assaulted by the enemy. We ask once again that your presence and your blood will be a ring of fire around
us and shield us from the enemy's onslaught. We bind satan and his cohorts in Jesus name and lift up the God who rescues. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Prayer for Jerusalem
Lord we come before your throne of grace to intercede for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray O Lord, for the rocket fire to cease and that terrorist groups will not attack the Holy city. We intercede
for the civilians caught in the cross fire. We pray for the children whom the terrorists are using as a human shield to propagate their violence. We pray Father God that the misinformation that is widespread be dispelled. Most importantly we pray for your
protection over the inhabitants of the land and those whose homes and lives are destroyed. O Lord, you have stated that He who keepeth Israel does not slumber nor sleep. We pray for your watchful eye on the people of Jerusalem. We pray Lord that the terrorists
will be flushed out and the collateral damage to life and limb will be minimal. We pray for peace in the middle east, especially between Israel and her neighbors. We pray Lord that you will triumph in the land and that your laws will be upheld. We pray for
your protection over Gaza and the West bank. Let the innocent be spared. We pray Lord God that you will speak order into the chaos. Thank you Lord for watching over your people. In the name above every name we pray, in Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer of intercession
Lord we come to you today to stand in the gap and build up the hedge for the lost and dying world. We weep for our children and unsaved family members. We see that your coming is near. We ask for an outpouring
of your mercy and grace. Lord you said that in the last days, you will pour out your spirit upon all flesh, that our sons and our daughters shall prophesy, young men see visions and old men shall dream dreams. We pray for this outpouring of the spirit. Let
our children prophesy and the elders see visions and dreams. We pray Father God that as we humble ourselves and pray and turn from our wicked ways, you will surely hear from heaven and heal our land. Release your Spirit of adoption so men can cry out Abba
Father. Lord, let there be a spirit of repentance unleashed over this world. Let there be a mass exodus out of the kingdom of darkness into the domain of your dear Son. Let people in their desperation cry Abba Father. Lord you are near to those that are repentant.
You are willing to show mercy and forgiveness to anyone who will call unto you. We love you Abba Father and we ask for your mercy to be extended to this world. In Jesus name. Amen.

New Year's Prayer
Father we approach your throne of grace this new year in the name of Jesus. We resolve this year to flood heaven's gate with our praise and prayers. We resolve to live our lives in order to please you.
We resolve to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God. We resolve to have our ears attentive to the voice of God. We resolve to order our lives according to the precepts established in your word. We resolve to walk in the straight and narrow way. We
resolve to lift our voices in praise and adoration of you. We resolve this year to lay aside every weight and run the race in order to win the prize. As you said to Abraham, you are our shield and our exceedingly great reward. We resolve to bring honor
to your name this year. We resolve to serve you with gladness. We pray that you would enable us to keep our resolution this year. We look forward to your second coming. Keep us ready Lord with oil in our lamps. Let your Holy Spirit fill us this year and let
us glorify your name. In Jesus name we make this prayer. Lead us in paths of righteousness for your name sake. Amen.
